Selection Procedure of B.SC Colleges In  Kolkata :

The selection procedure for the B.Sc admission in Kolkata differs from college to college. Some of the colleges give admission into B.Sc course on the basis of merit list which is prepared by the respective colleges according to the score obtained in the Secondary Higher Education (10+2). On the other hand, some of the colleges also conduct the entrance examination and give the students admission into the course through the marks scored in the examination. Eligibility Criteria of B.SC Colleges In Kolkata :

Students with 50% of marks in H.SC  (10+2) from a recognised education board with science stream can opt for the admission  into the B.SC course. Generally 50% of marks are required , but it also varies depending on different combination of subjects in B.Sc programmes.

Reservation of B.SC Colleges In  Kolkata :

The number of seats available for admission in B.Sc course varies from college to college.  In most of the cases almost 50% of the total seats are reserved for SC, ST, PH candidates.  Some cases 25 % is meant for reserved category if the total number of seats are very less.
